In August 2015, a camping trip to Yellowstone National Park led four senior outdoor enthusiasts to discuss the subject of outdoor gear. Their designer friend brought an awesome travel backpack, which they admired for its functionality and beauty, but also its high cost. This sparked the idea to create practical, stylish, and lightweight outdoor gear.

After camping, the group traveled to Big Sky City in Montana, where they decided to build a functional and stylish outdoor brand. In September 2016, they started with quick-drying towels and backpacks, going through various design drafts and material testings. After receiving valuable feedback from many outdoor enthusiasts, they finalized the prototypes of their original towels and backpacks.

In February 2017, 4Monster was born. Committed to creating a "portable" outdoor products brand, the company focuses on minimizing size while maintaining aesthetics, durability, practicality, and fashion.
